Yeghegnadzor Geological Musiem

The museum located in the city exhibits over 12,000 artifact: objects made of clay excavated from the territory of Vayots dzor (10-17th centuries), decanter found from the ruins of Yeghegis (10-11th centuries), milk-pot (13-14th centuries), water supply pipe found from the excavations of Hostun (13-14th centuries), tray  (13-14th centuries), jug found from Gladzor village (12-13th centuries), censer found from the territory of Arkaz’s St. Cross church (11-12th centuries), bast shoe found from one of the caves of Vayots dzor (17th century), pipe found from Yeghegnadzor’s territory (15-17th century), glazed plate (12-13th centuries) etc.

The museum also features an ethnographic exhibition and a numismatics display that demonstrates a wide range of coins and paper money dating far back to the 1st century BC.
