The Dadali bridge

This 13th century bridge also known as a sharp bridge, crosses the Arpa River and is located on the right bank of Yeghegis river. The bridge has unique arch style, not typical to any bridge in Armenia, built from a mixture of eggs & basalt stone

Little is known about the bridge, but local myths claim that Armenian prince built it to  access his palace easily located on the river’s edge. Legends say that this bridge has also been used by travelers and traders of Silk Road. The bridge was used by locals connecting one community to another until recently the Government has given the bridge a status of cultural asset.
