Connecting the birdwatching & bird conservation

As part of the touristic product development circle, in July 2019, FPWC has partnered with ArAVEs bird conservation NGO to start the development of its bird watching trail in Vayots Dzor region.

As a result of cooperation, high number of bird species were identified by field experts in the route connecting Gnishik village to Khndzorut, at elevations as high as 2000 – 2300 m above sea level.

A number of birds were identified, the trail has been selected, and the signboards for bird lovers will be placed in the area very soon!
