Holy Mother of God Church

This small church is located in Ulgyur village and dates back to 11th century. Ulgyur is a birthplace of Armenian famous architect Momik. In the cemetery of the church were found the graves of his parents- Grigor and Avta, brother – Goharturi and many other relatives. The specialists easily restored Momik’s family tree, due to revealed artifacts and remnants.
